Are any of the students in your household homeless?
A homeless student does not have a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence. To qualify, the child must be recognized under the McKinney-Vento act in their state.
The Local Education Agency homeless liaison or the shelter the child lives in can provide proof of homeless status.
